The Lake House Restaurant is widely recognised as a destination for lovers of good food and wine. It is the recipient of a multitude of wine, food and service awards. A network, developed over the years of local growers and suppliers, provides the best and choicest regional produce. This includes chestnuts, wild mushrooms, morello cherries, wild berries, rabbits, venison, duck, free range chickens and eggs, trout, yabbies, lamb, beef and an increasing amount of organically grown and produced goods.

A la carte menus change with the availability of new seasonal produce. Multi course "Tasting Menus' offer a special opportunity to sample a diverse range of the kitchen's offerings.

The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Reservations recommended.

The Lake House Cellar wine list is regionally based and contains many gems from small, Central Victorian boutique wineries as well as selected vintages and grand marques from around the world. The 700 plus selection has earned it the accolade from the New York's Wine Spectator as one of the world's most notable restaurant wine lists.

The beautiful Lake House cellar room offers wine tastings, as well as the opportunity for intimate private dinners. Up to fourteen guests can be seated at the magnificent American Oak table hand made by a local craftsperson. Candles are lit and the individually selected and designed dishes are served together with their perfect wine match.
